BEWARE OF FRAUD.
T HE unprecedented popularity of this benefi

pled persons to mnnnfactnro spurious catchpenny
articles, under various names, and purporting to
produce the same effect; but which, ill reality, pro
duce no other effect than that of swindling tlio
public; nnd to give n yet more plausible appear
ance of their cupidity, tlioho persons affect that
their wretched nostrums have been in ttso in
England nnd elsewhere fora uumher of years;
whereas, until the illustrious Dr. Mngnin mndo
his wonderful discovery, no cure for barrenness
hud been ever thought of, or nt least made pub
lic; and all those then in use for tho restoration
of tlio decayed virile powers were found to bo of
hut little avail. Thus, nfi nostrums advertised
for Imrrenuoss ortho curofifiuipotoncy, but Dr.

would never have been thought of but for the ap
pearance and great celebrity of tlio LUCINA
CORDIAL. As uo counterfeit ofthe name is
nt present in circulation, it limy in general be a
suffic ient caution for the purchaser to ask for the
Lticiim Cordial, but as further assurance,it would
bo as well to noto that its name, Lucina Cordial,

nited Stales arc on the outward envelope—that
a Fleur de Lis is printed on tho accompanying
directions, and beautifully embossed outlie show
bills hanging in the stores of those who have the
genuine article for sale.
The celebrity of the Lunina Cordial being such
as it is, it is scarcely necessary to add that it is the
only efficient remedy for barrenness, and the res
toration of decayed virile powers ever known;
and that in the cure of Fluor Albu*,Gleet, obstruc

is not only decided, Imt unquestionable. For

their good effects are not counterbalanced by any

White Sulphur Pills.
A N opinion has been long entertained by 111-
tclligent medical men, familiar with the use
of the waters of tho White Sulphur Springs in
Greenbrier county, Virginia, tl.nl the medical
virtues oftheso waters art mainly dependent up
on the saline ingredients which they hold in so
lution. The correctness of this opinion has re
cently been abundantly established by the snrm-
tive effects which are exerted upon the system by
the salts of these waters obtained by cnroftil evap
oration. The simple salts of tho water thus ob
tained, although sufficiently strong, in convenient
dosos, for muuy cuses of disease, arc, perhaps, us
u cathartic, tun slow in theiropornlion for general
use. To combine the specific virtues ofthe salts
oftlio wuter with a more speedy cathartic effect,
it has been found advantageous, to unite with
tho saline ingredients, very small portions of veg
etable purgative matter, and in this form tlio arti
cle is now prepared under the lights and sanctions
of experience, und recommended, not nsapana
cea remedial for every discusn, hut as n valuable
alto rati vo und cathartic medicine, adapted to n
variety of affections for which medicines of this
class are usually proper. For some time this mod

A Ccituin Cure for Sick Head-
Aclie* .
IIICII has been used in families, every
member of which has had sick headachfl
from infnucy.as a constitutional family complaint,
and has cured effectually iu every instance, yet
known, amounting to muny hundreds. It is not
unpleasant to the taste, nnd does not prevent tho
daily avocations of one using it; it must be perse
vered in, and the cure is gradual, but certain and
lermniient. instances uro constantly multiply*
ug where this distressing complaint iscnmplete*
ly relieved and cured, although of yearft standby
hy the use of Dr. Spohn’s celebrated remedy*
One decided preference is its pleasantness, hav
tug none of tlio uauseatiug effects of common
drugs. St:
lu ni! dyspeptic symtoms, costiveness, irregu
larity, distress after meals, pains in the side and
torpidity of the Jiver, the cure is perfect, and any
011c so afllicted will become immediately convin
ced on using it, that he has at last found a *‘sover-
eigu buhl) for bis wounds.” Females are particu
larly recommended to use it for costivenes# or ir
regularity, and other female complaints. It i*
►roved to correct vitiated and disordered hntnors
iceping the stomach in most perfect order. Those
persous who after an ovouiugs indulgence at’pay-
tics, See. have headache uud dullness tho next
day, will find this a sure preventive if taken at
bed time. For all common complaints, in a few
days its virtues will be self-evident, and a complete
cure will soon bo effected. When a person has
a cold and feels unwell, generally a free uso of it
for a few days will be sure to relieve without
physic or pills. To children it may be given with
the greatest advantage; . M
In all acidity or sourness of stomach, tin’s remedy'
is sovereign and invaluable; as a general family
medicine it is now adopted by many of the most
respectable funnies. It never sickens the stomach
or produces nny of tin* unplousnnteffects ofphysio.
