A Certain Cure for Sick Ileud-
Ache.
W HICH luis been used in families, every
member of which hns bad sick headache
from infancy,os a constitutional family complaint,
and bos cured effectually in every mstnnee yet
known, amounting to many hundreds. It ia not
unpleasant to the taste, and does not prevent the
daily avocations of one using it; it must Im perse
vered in, and the cure is gradual, but certain and
permanent. Instances arc constantly multiply
ing where this distressing complaint iscompietc-
ly relieved nnd cured, although of years standing,
by the use of Dr. Spohn’s celebrated remedy.
One decided preference ia its pleasantness, hav
ing none of tho nauseating effects of common
drugs.
In all dyspeptic symtoms, oostiveness, irregu
larity, distress after meals, pains in the side and
torpidity of the liver, the cure is perfect, and any
one so afflicted will become immediately convin
ced on using it, thuthe has ut Inst fouud a “sover
eign balm for his wounds.” Females arc particu
larly recommended to use it for costivencss or il-
regularity, and other female complaints. It is
P roved to correct vitiated and disordered humors
eeping the stomach in most perfect order. Thoso
persons who after an evenings indulgence at par
ties, Ac. bare headache and dullness the next
day, will find this a sure preventive if taken at
bed lime. For alt common complaints, in a few
days its virtues will be self-evident, and a com pie to
cure will soon be effected. When a person has
a cold and feels unwell, gonorally a free uso of it
for a few days will be sura to relieve without
physic or pills. To children it may be given with
the greatest advantage.
In all acidity or sou mess of stomach this remedy
is sovereign nnd invaluable; as a general family
medicine it is now adopted by many of the most
respectable familes. It nevor sickens the stomach
r produces any of the unpleasant effects ofphysic.

Row nnd’s Tonic mixture* or
Vegetable Febrifuge,
A specifio and larting cure for Fever and Ague.
T HIS worthy remedy earnestly repels the slur
of being a quack medicine, it having been
the result of many yenrs study, experience and
labor, in the medical practice and observation of
Fever and Ague. It is composed of such medi
cinal principles as were considered most fit to re
store tho harmony ofactionbaiwenii the stomach,
liver, and the other important functions of tlio
systein.lhe lot* of which harmony is evidently the
immediate can«e of the disease. It speedilv'pre.
motes a regular and healthy appetite wliich is
generally entirely destroyed or rendered veiy
precarious; by which effect, vigor and strength is
soon afforded to the whole system. It must be
apparent to all. that a medicine possessing there
peculiar virtues, is useful in a great variety of
complaints. By renewing the healthy, action of
the digestive organs, it has proved itself of ro-
markable benefit in dyspepsia, depraved appetite,
heart-burn, water brash, flatulency, jaundice,
night sweots, dysentery, bowel complaints, nnd
another affections of similar origin, but it is in
the treatment of Fevers, and especially in Fever
nnd Agtio, or Remittent Fever, that its powers
have been principally tested, and with those who
have seen itsuselliltmiu, it is pronounced sover
eign to nil remedies heretofore discovered fo
thore diseases. It hns also been used as o pre
ventive, by many who were subject to n periodi
cal recurrence of the chills nnd faver, and it has
always warded off the apprehended attack. It
was deemed not improper to accompany the
vegetnhlo febrifuge with a few of tho many une
quivocal certificates politely furnished to the pro
prietor,corroborative oftlie foregoing statements.
Farr further accounts of its groat usefulness, see
pamphlets accompanying each bottle.
