There is alfoat Mr. Robert Anderion’s, on I’atcher §
creek, in this county, a mulatto girl about IS or 16
years old, who lays (he got f3pcrated from a negro
man and a negro woman, a few days before than
mentioned in the incloled advertlfement, were t ketl
up, that (he as well as they, are free, and that they
were travelling from Georgia to Maryland > I am
told (lie has good intormation for such a perfera at flfitr
is : fne has no evidence ot lreedom.& I expeft came off
from Georgia with the two that are taken tip m
Fluvanna ; 1 do not know what name (he calls herfelt,
James’s river divides Fluvanna and Buckingham,,
and the places mentioned are about 60 miles above*

26 years of age, has a fear over her right eye,

Oiift, plain jacket and cotton petticoat.
‘I he above mentioned negroes fay they
emancipated by Jeremiah Chafe, of Annapolis, in
Maryland ; that they were (tolen (rom thence ard
carried to the county of Oglethorpe, in the (late
of Georgia, from which lait mentioned place they
made their escape, m i were on their return to
Maryland when taken up : The owner or owner*
if any, are desired to orove their property, pay
the charges and take them away, or they will b*
