Wouldn’t Take a
100 Acre Farm For
Good Tanlac Did Him
Prosperous Farmer Was Go
ing Down Hill Rapidly—
Now Eats Better, Sleeps
Better and Works Better.
"‘No sir, I wouldn't take a hundred
acres of the best land in Georgia for
the good Tanlac has done me,” said
Z. T. Moody, a well-to-do farmer of
Greensboro, Ga., when he came in to
E. H. Armour’s Drug Store the other
day to get another bottle of Tanlac.
“I suffered sc from indigestion that
1 got to the place where I dreaded
to go to the table almost, because it
just meant misery to me to eat.
Everything 1 ate soured in my
stomach and gas would form and
swell my stomach unitl it was almost
as tight as the bark on a tree. I got
short of bearth and dizzy when I
did any hard work and just felt worn
out all over r/.ost of the time. 1 was
nervous and restless at nigth and
could hardly sleep at all, and when
I got up in the morning, instead of
being rested, I felt almost as bad as
i£* 1 had done a day’s plowing. My
kidneys were all out of order and
pestered me ail the time.
‘‘l just drug along, trying every
thing I found that was recommended,
but instead of getting better, I kept
going down hill all the time. I ought
to have been in bed a lot of times
when I would just make myself go
right on in spite of my feelings. One
day 1 heard some of my friends talk
ing about this new medicine, Tanlac,
and from what they said about it, I
thought maybe it might help me. I
got a bottle and started taking it.
‘‘Well sir, I can now eat anything
the folks put on the table and it
seems like the more 1 eat, the more
I enjoy It, for I never have a bit of
trouble with my digestion since I
begun taking Tanlac. 1 can go to
sleep almost as soon as I hit the bed
and sleep sound all night and feel
rested and full of life in the morn
ing. The trouble with my kidneys
is all gone and 1 never have the
hurting in my back any more.
“I feel like a different man all over
and I always recommend Tanlac,
because it helped me more than any
thing I ever took in my life.”
Tanlac is sold by one regular es
tablished agency in every town. —

THE JEFFERSONIAN
CASE OF NEED.
To the Readers of The Jeffersonian:
1 wish to call to your attention a
real case of need. Recently one of
our local preachers, who has done
several years of supply work, was
thrown from ah automobile and sus
tained the dislocation of his right
shoulder and is told by his physicians
that an operation is necessary if he
is ever to have the use of his right
arm again. So as soon as there is an
opening he goes into the Wesley
Memorial Hospital for the operation.
If the operation is a success it will
be weeks before lie is able to "work.
He has a wife and six dependent
children, with no resource of income
except from his daily labor. I ap
peal to the more fortunate, liberal
minded. constituency of Georgia
Methodism to help this suffering
family. They are exposed to the
ills and wants of mid-winter weather
and not a dollar to buy even the
needed bread to hush the cries of the
little children.
Friends, I know you will help this
family. Please send your contribu
tions to Dr. J. A. Sharp, Wesley
Memorial Building, Atlanta, Ga., and
he will apply the amounts to this
case of crying need.
Sincerely yours,
J. C. ATKKINSON.

The Five Dollar Prop
osition Still Holds
Good.
Mr. Watson formulated the fol
lowing propositions for those who
were anxious to help The Jefferso
nians continue their work; either of
the propositoons might be chosen on
the payment of five dollars:
(1.) To be entered for 5 years
to either the weekly Jeffersonian, or
to the Magazine; or
(2.) To be entered 3 years for
both the weekly paper and the
monthly magazine; or
(3.) To receive, postpaid, that
amount—ss. —in any of the books
we publish; or
(4.) To enter on our list, for-a
years’ subscription, to either the
paper or the magazine, names of 5
persons; or
(5.) To be moved up 1 year, on
the subscription list of either the
weekly or the monthly, and get the
balance—s4. —in any of our books
and pamphlets; or
(6.) To be moved up 1 year on
both the weekly and the monthly, and
get the balance—3.—in any of our
books and pamphlets.
This is not asking something for
nothing; it is a bid for your co
operation, with value received to
you.

Get at The Source of Your “Skin Diseases”
Don’t be misled by this term, for
the appearance of pimples, boils or
rashes indicate something more se
rious than a mere “breaking out” of
the skin. These eruptions are, in
reality, signals from nature that the
blood is impoverished, debilitated and
in need of help. Os course you can
sometimes drive away the infected
places by applying a salve or lotion,
but unless you treat them through the
medium of the blood, they will occur
again and again.
