In view of the fact.that cvofy menibcr of
the huinnu family is moreor 1-s# subjected to
some of the aloivc coinjilsints, besides in
numerable other conditions in life, which,
by tlie assistauce of a liule knowledge or
exercise of common sense, they may he able
so to regulate their habits of diet, aud with
the assistance of a good tonic, secure |>er-
manent health. In order to accomplish this
desired object, the true couree to pursue i«,
certainly, that which will produce a natural
state of things nt the least hazard of vital
strength and life: for this end Dr. Has totter
has introduce,! to this country a prepara
tion called • HOSTETTER’S STOMACH
BITTERS, which at this day ia not; a new
medicine, but one that baa oeen tried for .
years, giving satisfaction to nil who have
used it. The Bitters operate powerfully upon
the stomaeh, bowel* and liver, restoring
them to a healthy and vigorous aeliou, and
thus by the simple process of strengthening
nature, enable the system to triumph over
disease. DiavvhtBa, dysentery or flux, so
generally contracted by new Settlers, and
caused principally by the cliange of water
and diet, will be speedily regulated by a
brief nee of this preparation. Dyspepsia,
a disease which is probably more prevalent
when taken in all its various" forms, than
any other; tlic cause of which may always
be attributed to derangements of the diges
tive organs, can be cured without fail by
using HOSTETTER’S STOMACH BIT
TERS aa per directions on die bottle. Foe
this disease every |>hvsician will recom
mend Bitters of some kind, then why not
use art article known to_ be infallible t
Eveiy country have their Bitters ,5* a pre
ventive of disease, and strengthening of
theayatma in general, and among them all
then, is not to be found a more healthy
people than the Germans, from whom tins
preparation emanated, based ujmh scientific
experiment* wliieh ha* attended to advance
< tlie destiny of this great preparation in the
medical scale of science.
