J. seven per cent, for the last six months, and
a bonus of nine anil one eleventh per cent. Those
Stockholders who hold shares, on each of which
fify-five do'lars have been paid, must bring in
their certificates, when they call for dividends,
in order that the bonus may be endorsed there
on. Stockholders, on whose shares, more than
fifty-five dollars have been paid, will receive the
amount of bonus in cash. Payments will com
mence after Wednesday next, and continue on
fach day of the week, after, excepting on Tues
day's and Wednesday's. ‘ .

It is presumed his height is about five feet fell
or eleven inches ; his complexion of the Afri*
can, though a native i rather meagre visage,
thick lips, stout nose and large eyes—lns hands
and feet are rather larger than proportionate, „
and his fingers long and tapering. No scari re
collected but one, occasioned liy a burn or some
other cause, on one of his hands, lie is abouf
24 years of age, well made, except a little in
clination of his knees, and speaks sensibly. His
dress-not recollected. Having relations in Sa
vannah and on st. Helena, s. c. i,t is supposed he
may make for either the one place or the oth
er ; hut from some conversation he had with
his fellow boat-hands previously to his abscond
ing, it is likely he may attempt an esrape to
st. Mary’s, and from thence to the Spanish
possessions.
I'he above reward and all reasonable ex-
r tenses will he paid to any one for his uppre
lension and safe delivery into anv jail in
South f’arolina or Georgia, and for informa
tion thereof sent to the poet-office of Au
gusta, Geo.
