Columbian JEuteum, SAVANNAH, June 13. Sunday last arrived from Colerain, the company of light-infantry, who ac companied the Commissioners on the negociationof the treaty with the Indi ans ; by whom we learn their encamp ment is on the South fide the river St. Mary’s. —Nothing of import had trans pired. Various are the reports —that 500 only of the Indians were present, and those not disposed to treat. It ap pears however, that their attendance was/not so general as was expected, and a doubt remains, whether a negotiation will take place before the ill of July, if then. , The Senate have concurred in the following nominations : Rufus king, to be Unifier Plenipo tentiary ot the United States, at tiic Court of London, and David Humphreys, to be Minister Plenipotentiary at the court of Spain. From the Philadelphia Gazette . Mr. Brown, On reading Monday’s paper, I took notice of a curious firing ot relations, compriled in four persons ; but when 1 came to confider it, I recotlefted the fame, relatiorifnip happened by marriage in (our persons in the township of New ton, not five miles from Cooper’s lerry, in the Jerfcy. A. 1. married M. C’s. fifler, and fome time after M. C. married A. I’s. daughter, so that here were two ,hus bands, two wives, two brothers, two fifiers, one father, one mother, one son, and one daughter. But as I have in my pofleffion some thing I think rather more intricate, if it is worthy a place in the Gazette, please to insert it, and obiige a constant reader. My husband is my uncle, my son is my brother, His wife is my filler, Sc I am her mother. Six children I have had, and look lor another ; I am grandma to three that belong to my brother. I have a filler named Peggy, whole mother I am ; My own brother is my son, his name it is }ohn. This paradox, ft range as it may seem unto you’, The good people of Bridgetown will 2(fore it is true.
