ROBBERY.
ON the night or the morning after the firft
fire, the desk taken out of the Store of
Mr, William Kinder, was broke open, and
therefrom taken, about EIGHTY DOLLARS
in Cafti, also the fubferibers pocket book, con
taining several Notes and due Bills, and other
papers of no ufc to any person but himfelf ;
likewise a receipt of Mr. John Cunningham,
to William Finder, for Three Hundred and
Eighty-five dollars & ten cents, (mentioned in
said receipt for part payment of the boat
Chance.) Any person giving information of
the Cash and papers above mentioned, so that
they may be had, or the offender or offenders
brought to justice, shall be liberally rewarded.
I have sundry Goods now in my pofleffion,
which was taken out of Mr. Finder’s store, on
the night of the fire. The owners thereof, are
requellcd to call on the fublcriber, south end of
the Court-houfr, and receive them.

CAPITAL SAW-MILLS.

hundred acres of LAND in Winton County,
South-Carolina, on a creek called the New
Three Runs, with the valuable Saw 3 Grist
Mills thereon. The latter procure by toll a
. large quantity of Grain, the former witli prop
er management, wilt cut on an average, four
thousand five hundred feet of inch boards per
day. Four Saws are worked at present, and
the stream is so abundant as to admit of several
more being put up, and constantly employed
to advantage. Tliefe Mills have been lately re
built by an excellent Mill Wright, and arc in
finitely fupelior to any in the Southern States.
Their working is never impeded by frefhes or
want of water. Rafts of 30,000 feet are, and
larger may be, brought from thetoouth of the
Runs to Savannah, in fix days. Persons dil
