WHEREAS, there is reason to fufpeft that
this City has been deiignedly set on
FIRE, in fevcral inllances, fmee the 25th of
November lafl. To bring the perpetrators of
such dreadful ads, to I'peedy punishment, and
to prevent a repetition of Inch attempts —I do
hereby with the consent of the City Council,
offer a reward of ONE T HOC SAND DOL
LARS, to any person who will give inlorma
tion of any person or p-rfons, that may have
been concerned in any iuch attempt, to be paid
on convifction ot such p ,, rlon or persons. And
it is hereby carneftly recommended to the In
habitants, that they be watchful in their Yards
and Out-Houses, that any future attempts of a
limilar nature,’ may be fruflrated.

Corporation ot Savannah, this eighth

five feet three or four inches high. Whoever
own said Negroes, is requelled to apply to th

away.
