‘ls hereby given t > Planters, that may
incline to engage in the cultivation ot tlie
Sugar Cane \ that the Plantation, (now
the residence of William Cooke,) called
CLARKE’S BLUFF,on the soutli side of
tlie Altamaha River, ten miles above Di
rk n. is off red on Lease, on tlie moil ad
vantageous terms; for Inch a term of
years, .is may suit the planter.
This nlantatior, is a real object to a
Planter, if considerable force ; it having
upwards of 200 acres of land, opened,
that can lie In4u.it- fit for cultiv ■ ion, with
little additional labour ; its soil ,s equal to
any on the Altamaha River, its situation
is a.-: pleasant, as any in the Southern coun
try ; and a ten years experience, proves
it to be Healthy. The situation is peculi
arly favorable to the raising of Bock; and
what may be a con-1 kleration to a Planter,
is, that the lieit Shad Fishery \n the South
ern States, can be established, at litle ex
pense, at the bluff. It is unnectllary to
make a further description of its situation
and advantages, ay it is very generally
known ; and none, it is presumed, would
attempt to treat for it, without having
previously examined it ; which is particu
larly the wish of the proprietor; to such
perlbns, the terms will lie made known by
making application to Joseph Miller, esq.

party of irm and men, under the command
ot a Col. Samuel ilexander , calling them
felvcs patriots, came to the Subscribers,
and took off seven SLAVES, valuable
country born, <viz
DAVE, a very’ lenfible country born
fellow, somewhat over five feet high, if
questioned will give a true account of all

derers, &c.
FANNY, his fißer of a yellow com
plexion, about four feet nine or ten inches
high, vtry lenfible.
JERRY, a mulatto lad, fnn to the a
bove wench Fanny, about eighteen years
of age, about five feet, t*.vo inches high,
JOE, a mulatto lad, son to the above
wench Fanny, about fifteeen years of
age, about four leet, nine or ten inches
high.
PHILIS, a mulatto girl, daughter to
tlie above wench Fanny, about twelve
years of age, about four feet four or five
inches high.
PEGGY, a Negro Girl daughter to
the above wench Fannv, about 8 years
of age, and about four feet high, has a
final I fear near the hinder part of the
right fide of her head occasioned by fire.
A reward of 20 Dollars each,
Will lie paid for fectiring said Negroes
in anv part of the United States, so that
the Subscriber can get them, and all rea
sonable expences paid exclusive, if deliv
ered at St. Man’s, Georgia, or at Fer
nandina, Amelia Island.
