partv of arm and men, under the command
ot a Col. Samuel . Alexander, calling thetn
felves patriots, came to the Subscribers,
and took off seven SLAVES, valuable
country born, viz :
DAVE, a very l'enfible country born
fellow, somewhat over five feet high, if
qtieflioned will give a true account of all
the circumdances, the names of the plun
derers, See.
FANNY, his filler of a yellow com
plexion, about four feet nine or ten inches
high, verv lenfible.
J ERRY, a mulatjfcad, Ton to the a
bnve wench Fanny, about eighteen years
of age, about five feet, two indies high.
J9* a mulatto lad. son to the above
wench Fannv, about fifteeen years of
age, about four lent, nine or ten inches
high.
PHILIS, a mulatto girl, daugliter to
the above wench Fannv, about twelve
years of age, about four feet four or five
inches high.
PKGGY, a Negro Girl daughter to
the above wench Fannv, about 8 years
of age, and about four feet high, has a
final! lcar near the hinder part of the
right lide of her head occalioned by fire.

Burke County, dating that lie was pollefs
ed of a certain promiilbry note bearing
dale tbe day of-Julv, eighteen hun
dred and eleven, made and executed by
I hoiuas B. Harden, to the laid Cader
Fairchild for the sum of fifty dollars, fay
able on the firdday of January, eighteen
hundred and twelve, that the original of
the laid note (a copy of which as nearly
as can be recollected bv the petitioner is
filed, together with his petition and affida
vit, in theofHce of the Clerk of this court.)
Pcrfuant to the acls of the Legislature, in
fucii case made and provided, palled in
1799, has been loft or otherwiie drllroyed
bv accident ; and the laid petition praying
the benefit intended by the adts afore!aid,
and other circunillances being laid before
the court.
It is ordered that the said Thomas B.
