by the Musicians, who, on the 4th day of
the present month; without orders,or per
niiffion withdrew them (lives front the firo*

of that day. .
Therefore resolved, That the com
manding officers of *the volunteer compa
nies of this city) be, and they ?j e hereby
reqjuefted, to bring immediately to trial
before a court martial, the said musicians.
- Resolved , That if it flionid be the opin
ion of the said officers, that the said musi
cians are not fubjedl to a trial by court
martial, it is then earnellly recommended .
to the said officers to dismiss from the ser
vice of their refpeiflive companies tlie said
musicians, and to employ and encourage
the fen ces of white drummers and fifers.
- Ordered, That a copy of tbe foregoing
be served upon each oi the commanding
officers of the volunteer companies, ana
