Loss of the ship North Point. —The ship North
Point, capt. Patten, from Baltimore, for Charles
ton, went ashore in a violent snow storm on Tues
day night last at. half past 9 o’clock; she bilged on
Friday morning; the crew reached this on
Sunday night in the long-boat. The captain and
other officers have remained bv her to save what
is possible from the wreck. We hear of no fur
ther particulars.
