And whereastho aforesaid third section, and the suid parts ofthe seventh section ofthe said liist article of the Constitution, touching tho ropiesentation of the General Assembly ofthe Slute, has been found by experience to bo dofective on account of tho great numbers in tho Le gislature, and the enormous expense on account thereof —wo the Delegates of the people of the Stale of Georgia, In General Convention assembled, chosen and author nod by them to revise, alter and amend the raid two sections and other parts, if any, touching the rnpresontu tion of tho people of Georgia in tho General Assembly, have, after mature reflection and deliberation, declurcd the following to he amendments in lieu of the aforesaid third section, and (arts of the seventh section, winch when ratified by the people ofthe Htate, shall Oe taken, held and considered ns parts of the Constitution oi the State of Georgia, in lieu ofthe aforesaid.
