CATENT RIGHT FOR SALE.
B Y virtue of Leftcrs Patout to mo granted on the Hlb
’ day of May, 1836, for uiy improvement in tho cut-
CCLAR saw mill, I now offir for sale the right, by coun
ties, or liy the single mill, for tho tilato ol Georgia alone.
The mill is designed for horsa power, and is simple in ite
construction, there being but little mnehiueiy about it,and
can be built by any gt>od joint workman, 'riie oovl of the
mill will not exceed $650 of $700: and, indeed, the actual
cost, or money required to build one qf these mills, with
a great many men, will not much exceed llist-of the cot
ton machine now in use in this State, for when the farmer
c«n have much of the work dons in building a cotton ma
chine, ho can nfsohuve much of the work done in building
one of these mills and thereby save ilia .paying om of'
some 2 or 3 hundred duller*. It is believed thstone geod
draught horsa will saw the rise of a thousand feet of tim
ber in a day; at any rota tba inventor of t is improvement
will warkant two horses to cpt twelve hundred fret in
the day, and these horses to stand the labor as wcR or lift*
tar than (hey do in picking of cotton. In a reasonable ’
tinio there will be a model madn and kept in Columbus,
where It may hasten. ..
