THE COUNTY OFFICES.
It seems to be millet nf general regret
emoag our ftienda that there are eo many
States Rights candidates in tbe field for the
county dffices. The result uf the late elec
tion has proved that, without unanimity,
success is impossible: our men will only
contribute to tbe defeat of each other and the
elevation <>( their opponents. Such a result,
.we feel assured, is not desired by aoy one
whose' name baa bean announced, and wa
doubt not that an undaretaodiog will ba had
which will insure enure success.
