The Darien Strain San’ Mill, IS NOW IN OPERATION.—The proprietor, wish to contract for the delivery of Inrgr quanti ties of yellow pine Lumber at their wharf, where tha drnlt of water, nnd the facilities for hauling are as good as at any place in the immediate vicinity of Darien. They also, wimli to contract fora supply of HA W LOOS— about four hundred thousand net will be required monthly. Contracts for this amount, or less, will be given to accommodate applicants. Con., July 20, 1838 Sir—A most wonderful cure has lately been effect ed, through the virtues of Dr. Goelick's Sanative, in the case of an elderly gentleman, who was far gone nnd wasted away in Consumption, nnd considered past recovery hy his family man. He in now. com paratively speaking, a well man. 1 saw him myself a few’ days since, in company with his wife, starting on a journey to the western part of this State. Ha ascribes his escape from the very jaws of death, and his recovery to health solely to the astonishing vir tues of the Matchless Sanative. The Company have five new STEAM BOATS, commanded by first rale Captains, viz: J. STONE, - Capt. W. C. Mcndall, CHIEFTAIN,- “ Geo. Wilcox, EXCEL, - “ G Quinn, SUPERIOR, - “ W. F. Johnson, J. GODDARD. “ L. L Wilcox. Also, sixteen first rate TOW BOATS, built expressly for the navigation of Alatamnha and Ocumtilgec Riven. The J. Stone is a side wheel Boat, low pres sure engine, carries 700 hales of cotton, and runs regularly three times a week, between Savannah and Darien. I'he Chieftain is aside wheel Boot, and carries 500 or fit* hales ol cotton, runs regularly between Darien and Charleston, and between Savannah A Charles ton. The Excel, Superior and J. Goddard, ripi regularly between Darien and Macon, towing two boats each. One of them will leave Dari en regularly every three days—the usual time of up is five or six days. ‘This line is connected with a line of seven packets running regularly between New York and Darien. Any goods or pfcxluee -hipped to theiragenls, orordered to lie shipped by their line, will he forwarded with despatch. The company, thankful for the patronage they have received, Ijgve increased their means of eon. veyance largely, and pledge themselves lo use every exrtion to faciltate thr interests of those w ho may ship by their line.
