The J. Stone is n side wheel Boal, low pre
; sure engine, carries 70© bales of cotton, and
runs regularly three times n week, between
Savannah and Darien. The Chieftain is a side
wheel float, and carries fHXI or (KJO halosol
cotton, runs rcguiurly between Durieu and
Chm leston, and between Savannah & Chorles-
I ton. The Excel, Superior and J. Goddard, run
j regularly between Darien and Maeon, towing
two boats each. One of them will leave Dari
ien regularly every three days —the usual time
j of passage up is jive or six days,
This line is connected with a line of seven
packets running regularly between New York
and Darien. Any goods or produce shipped to
Iheir agents, or ordered to be shipped by their
line, will be forwarded with despatch. The
company, thankful for tho patronage they have
received, have increased their means of eon
veyanee largely, and pledge themselves to use
every cxrtion to facilttile the interests of those
who may ship by their line.

The Dmirn Strum Saw Mill,
IS NOW IN OPERATION.—The proprietors
wish to contract for the delivery of large quanti
ties of veltow pine Lumber at ilwir wharf, where
the draft of water, and die facilities fur loading are
as good as at any place in the immediate vicinity of
Darien.
They also, wish to contract fora supply of SAW
LOGS—about four hundred thousand feet will be
required monthly. Contracts for this amount, or
less, will be given to accommodate applicants.

—consisting of mortars, pestles, shafts,
fanning nulls, screens, two pair of very large mill
stones, and a number of other articles.

was formerly owned in the eilv of Savannah by
Mr*. Fell. She was taken from Riceboro iii
in May last by a negro man, and was heard of
a few days after near the city. She is well
known in the city. Nanny is 25 years of age,
light complected, and about five feet high.
