It is conceded and well understood, that threa
fifths of all the case# of Consumption which an

For all such cases as these, the Tomato Pills art
a remedy, which if taken in season, and persever
ed in to a reasonable extent, will render the sys
tem unsusceptible to this insidious disease. Titos*
therefore, liable to sore throats, swelling of tha
glands, coughs, Ac. should take warning in sea

as r nut has any other heretofore known*
Females of 40 to 50 years of age, will find them
a powerful assistant ta nature, in the important
change in the functions iff the system, removing
all liabilities to Cancers, glandular swellings, Ac.
and agisting to establish that new action m the
animal economy which nature often fails to do.
None should avoid a free and continued use of
them, if ‘hey wish to escape a long train of tncu
rable maladies. For this purpose one should tw
taken every night and morning, and continued a#
long as any unpleasant symptoms remain.
For obstructions in young females, enough of
the Pills should be taken every third night to pro
duce a full evacuation from the bowels. For this
purpose three to five will be required—no definite
dose, however, can be assigned for every case;
but their specific action upon the bowels should
be obtained if it requires ever so many, and perse
vered in until the desired effect# are produced. *-
To remove Constipation, Heart burn, Nausea,
Ac. when no other disease is present, one or two
Pills may be taken, either on going to bed or half
an hour after eating. For a full operation, three
to five should be taken.
