The education, which it is the purpose
of the Episcopal Church < f Georgia to of

sons for eutranc# to the various Colleges
and Theological Seimuarie* of the United
Stairs. All the branches of a sound Ehg
lish Education. Greeks Latin, Drawing and
Music will be thoroughly taught, while a
strict religious discipline will be maintain
ed in tho Institute.
As we should profernfew pupils, stnrtlv
trained upon the principles which we think
properns ehrisiiaus to adopt, to a multitude
not nnder proper restraint, it is our request
that no chitd'shall be sent to the Institute,
whose parents are not willing to sustain
thedisripline and practices of the school
It will only subject the Teachers to the
painful necessity of immediate dismissal.
Until a meeting of the Trustees of the
Institute can be held, we can do no more
than give a general view of the conduct
and terms of the school. It has been pla
ced under the management of the Rev.
Charles Fay, late ofthy Diocese‘of Ver
mont, whose experience in the conduct of a
religious school, gives us just r ason foi
hope that it will be sueeeastully carried on.
He will be assisted by his wife, who was
trained b; hei_ father, the present Bishop
of Vermont, for theyery purpose' of cuuse
crating her gif's to the glory of God through
Christian Education. Mr. Sam’l. Howard
Fay. late of Savannah, will superintend* all
e temporal concerns of the Institute.
The session will ciititinue, probably,
through ten months of the year, throwing
it such tnoiuus ns will permit the children
return home without risk lo their health.
The expense will not exceed two hundred
and fitly dollars per annum, lor every thing,
books and stationary excepted —These
will be furnished to the studrnts at
cost and will be unnecessarily changed
There will not be no extra charges except
for medical attendance in serious cases.
Music and drawing will bA taught as n part
of the education of the school. Each sin-
dent will be expected to carry with him
four table and four toilet unpkins. Every
thing else will be found.
The whole establishment will be under
the supervision oftlie Bishop of the Diocese
of Georgia for the time being, assisted by
the advice of twelve Trustees, selected
from the Daily oftlie Church.
It is almost unnecessary to say any tiling
relative to the spot which has been liber-

healthiness and its beauty of position.
Any further information respecting this
school, may be had by addressing S. H.

The passage ol the Teeth through the

symptoms. It is known by mothers that
there is great irritation in tlie mouth and

the child is seized with frequent and sud-

the sleep, and spasms of peculiar parts; the
child shrinks with extreme violence, and
