About twenty minute* peat eleYen o'clock, our
third despatch came to band. It is of tbe highest

apparently with more success than formerly. An
other revolution had broken out. a real rebellion.—
Tbe Rebels were posted near Carrick in Kilmark,
on Tjiomas Mountain.
A general rise of tbe Peasants took place, and after
organization they marched and attacked tbe Police
stations at Clonmel.
Much fighting ensued, and numbers, it is said,
mere killed.
Tbe insurgents captured some of the cannon of
tbe regular troops, aad at last advices terrible re*
waits were anticipated.

Should the above news prove true, of which we
have no doubt, it will be joyful intelligence to tbe
numerous sons of old Erin, who, in this city as well
«s others throughout the Union, had given up all
hopes of the redemption of their country from the
thraldom of Great Britain. If tbe last attempt is
well organized, the friends of Ireland have still left
the hope that tbe day is not far distant when her
•hack es will be shaken off, and her noble hearted
•on* will once more enjoy what they have long been
contending for, liberty.

The outbreak in Ireland is confirmed, and o
despatch states, that the rebels were stationed
almost inaccessible positions in Csrrack and in
Kilmarke, in the vicinity of Thomas Monntain.
There was a general rise of the peasants; they

O’Gorman, it appears, did not excape to America,

Provisions were freely supplied by the surroun
ding villages and country, and every thing wore
the appearance of a regular and general organiza-
lion, and a successful rebellion was anticipated.

the late Independent Taylor party of Marylandi
which was presented to the Convention of that par*

withheld (rom publication in accordance with a re
quest from Gen. Taylor contained in the letter.—
