The Cincinnati Gazette vouches for the truthfulness of the following narra tion. About four years since, a poor miserable* intemperate! woman wan dered about the streets of Cincinnati, accompanied by a delicate bul bright little daughter of about six years of age. They called together at the. house of a lady then living on Broadway, and ask ed charity. It was freely dispensed, and the lady r being pleased with the lovely appearance of the child, insisted Brief Qctssorings.
