On last Friday morning, about 4 o'clock, a small wooden building near the Tobacco Factory, was de stroyed by fire. A considerable amount of tobacco, manufactured and in the leaf, was stored in this Louse, ell of which was cousumed. Mr. J. P. Sweaney es timates his loss in tobacco at $2,500. Tlie building, wo believe, was the property of Mr. R. A. McComb hfr. Sweaney informs us that there hud been no fire in tb.a house, that a window was broken open, and be has no doubt the burning was the woik of an incendi ary.
