She became enraged with her consin, a little negro -girl named Grizzy Peace, for an alleged theft, and to pnnisb her, placed a rope about her neck, threw it over a beam and pulled at the other end to hold the child while she beat her. In the struggle the child’s neck was broken, aild death instantly ensued. A coroner's verdict has been rendered in accordance with the facts.
