The Lighthouse on Point Itacolomi. entrance, of St-
Marcoa Bay, H&ranham, Brazil, 'was partially destroy
ed by fire on tho 30th of September, and The'light*
would be discontinued for a period.

Trinity House, London, Novembers, 1868.
Notice is hereby given that a Green Buoy, marked
with the word “Wreck,” has been placed about 20
fkthoms N W of the wreck of a vessel (name unknown)
sunk in Ringroad.
The Buoy lies in 2^ fathoms at low water spring
tides, with the following marks and compass bear
ings, viz:
Avon lighthouse tower, twice its height, open north
of Blaise Castle, E by S % S.
Firefly Buoy, Why N £fN, -distant 3-10tk mile. '
Flatness Buoy,JE'by N 2£N, distant 2-10tk8 mile.
