Cotton.—The market opened quiet but Arm at
Saturday s prices, with a good demand, but
buyers are still unwilling to operate freely at
present quotations, hence sales are considerably
restricted. The market remains firm in New
York and Liverpool, and prices are steady. In
mtares the market is a little more active, th ugh
there is no advance in prices. Sales to-day, 400 j
liales: 300 for February at 15 „; 100 for March at
15V. We quote:

per bushel: mixed, $1 05 ® 1 10. Oats—demand

Hay.—We quote Northern $1 15® 1 25 at whole
sale mid $i 35&1 45 at retail; Eastern $1 20®l 30

very little on the market.
Hides.—Dry Flint, 16 cents ; dry salted, 14
