Newspaper Pl BLisniSG.-IThe editor of the Northamton Courier reads n iiomily to him of the Springfield Gazette, for eallrging, his paper, and concludes w ith the following very just re marks: Extra efforts lo gratify meet no response, not even punctuality in paying subcriplion, and ad ditional outlays only seem to make people more exacting and tyrannical. The only way is to go right ahead, in a .straight forward, independent course, publishing a moderate sized paper, giving people about a fair compensation, their money’s worth of reading, and if this don’t succeed, why any editor can split wood, or eqt saw dust bread for a living. _..
