I Flour. —Howard street Flour —There has been a ■toady advance in the store price of Howard street I’lour for the last two weeks. On this day week |hc market closed at $4 874 as the asking rate. — Early in the present week the store price advanced to ■-.5, and the transaclians up to this morning were pretty uniform at that price for good common frauds. This morning, however, a further im provement had taken place, and we note sales of 3"0 to 400 barrels, at $5 12.), which we now quote Us the maUcct rate. Some holders ask $5 25. The receipts are extremely light and the stock in mar ket reduced very low, although the sales arc chief ly confined to small lots for city consumption.
