of the soundness or unsoundness ol Ur. Goelick s

his Sanative too valuable not to be genet.dt)

hear, we must believe. .
Wc hereby sta e, that when Dr. Louis OI tea

the pretended discoverer of a new doctrine ami a

we now deem it our boon Sen duty (even at Tie
expense of self-interest publicly to acknow c,,ge
its efficacy in curing not only consumption, but
other fearful maladies, which we have heretolorfc
believed to be incurable. Our contempt for Tm

up in our utter astonishment at these unexpocbcii
results; and, as amends lor our abuse of mm, '
do frank!v confess to the world, that we believe
him a philanthropist, who docs - onci to Lie protes

ERMITAGE EXTRACT. —This lately iu-
JL vented combination of delightful odors, has
acquired a just popularity, not only by reason ol
the strength and delicacy, but of the extraoidina
ry duration of its perfume. Whilst the strength of
many other ex tracts and essences is almost as eva
nescent as the bloom of tiie flowers from which
they are derived, tne Hermitage retains its fra
grance for an in efiniie length of time, and is
scarce to be removed from the garment on which it
is poured, by washing; hence it is probably the
