PREMIUM SKY LIGHT DAGUERREOTYPES,
J' s ?"'"* Removal. Mr. LEIGH having withdrawn from
the firm of LEIGH, TUCKER & PElllviNS, the undersign
.ed will continue their former business, and for the more
successful prosecution of their beautiful Art, have removed
to their new and commodious Rooms, No. ‘2lb Broad street,
(nearly opposite the Augusta Hotel) where they have all
the facilities that can be desired from one of the most
scientifically arranged Sky Lights in this country.
They would embrace this opportunity of returning their
thanks for the very libera! patronage extended to them
for several years past; and being determined to merit a
continance of the same, and not be surpassed by any one
in their profession, in producing Daguerreotypes of the
richest tone and most life-like expression, one of the firm
has spent the past season at the North, and nothing new
and useful either in Instruments, new styles of Pictures, or
cases, has escaped their notice.
N. B. Our patrons will please bear in mind, that our pre
sent Rooms are easier of access than any rooms heretofore
used for the same purpose in Augusta.
P• S. Operators in the country purchasing stock wii;
please recollect that we have just completed our arrange

TRADE AND BUSINESS.—The stocks of Goods are now
ample, and the amount of business transacting very air,
though not so large as we have noticed at this season.—
Dealers, however, seem well satisfied with their trade, which
seem* legitimate and to promise well.
GROCERIES—In the Grocery trade, the operations era
very satisfactory as a whole. The stocks are good and the
demand fair. In Sugar and Coffee, we note no change in
prices, but they are very firm at our quotations. Refined
i Sugars have slightly advanced, and we have altered our
quotations accordingly. Salt has declined, and the indica
tions are favorable to still lower rates. In other leading
articles we note no change.
PROVISIONS —Bacon Sides are rather lower, and we
have made our quotations conform to the current rates. —
i Flour is abundant at our quotations.
1 GRAIN—Corn is in more request, and prices have ad
i vanetd a Uitle. In Wheat, we note no change in prices.
NAlLS—Prices have again advanced, and holder? are
looking forward to still higher rates.
PEAS—The supply is greater than the demand, and
prices have declined.
FISH—Our quotations for Mackerel are for old stock—
New commands much higher rates.
EXCHANGE—Checks on the Norths ct. prem.
FREIGHTS—The rates for cotton to Charleston are #1 $8

good navigable condition.
CHARLESTON, Oct. 9.— Cation —There was a very good
demand for this article yesterday, which resulted in the
sale of upwards of 8300 bales, at about the prices current on
Saturday. The sales comprise 4 bales at 8%, 258 at 9, 116
at 9)4, 270 at 9tf, 117 at 9 6-16, 75 at 93*, 65 at 9 7-16,1045

R. R. R.
■ f \T IRACULOUS CURES.— People wonder at the
! J.fJL quick efficacy of the R. R. R. Remedies in stoppimr
pain, removing its causes, and curing the most obstinate
complaints. Act there is no mystery in it—there is nothing
miraculous about it. True, until the K. R. K. Remedies
were introduced, no remedy or medicine was ever known
, to stop the most torturing pains in a few seconds, and
allay the most violent Cramps of Cholera, Neuralgia,
Spasms, Ac., in a few minutes. Eadway’s Heady Re.ief
7 will stop pain instantly, because it produces a eounter-ac
e j tion upon the parts where pain is felt. If the Patient suf
. j fers from Neuralgia, it immediately acts upon the nerves,
i produces a counter irritation, invigorates the nerves, and’
’ ; imparts vitality to the parts where pain is experienced.
i The action of the Relief is quick, and the very moment it
j I is applied, it begins to counteract the effects produced by
disen-ed action. If you are the vict’m of Cholera, it acts
’ t innuurb taken internally, it settles the stomach and
! allays all palnf- . Ration and sicknes.,, it infuses heat int r
the bbrod, and its warm and healthful influence thrills
’ ; through every portion of the body; it neutralizes the poi
r sonous malaria of Cholera and checks its progress. Ap
e plied ex ernally, it allays Cramps and Spasms, and restores
e the cold-cramped, and almost lifeless victim, to life and
health. If you are troubled with Sick Headache, the Ready ]
Relief taken internally will neutralize the acid of th«
stomach, make the stomach sweet and pure, and the
breath fragrant; externally, it will produce a counter ac
tion on the scalp and refresh the senses. This, then, is all
the mystery about the action of K. R. Relief; it does not
lie in the action of the Relief, but in the science of its
chemical and pharmaceutical combination. So with each
-of the other R. R. R. Remedies. The Resolvent acts in
- like manner upon the blood, and the diseased deposits, re
g novating and resolving away from the system all scrofu-
X lons hum- vs and poisonous deposits.
RAD WAY’S REGULATORS.—Forregulating the organs
. of the system and securing a regular action of each ; free-
L ’ ing the bowels from all retained humors, assisting the sto
’> mach, aiding the digestive organs in their functional du
|s ties, the liver to secrete its bile, and the kidneys and blad
der their urine; the bowel- to discharge their burden, and
the skin to emit a free and healthy perspiration. Such are
} the effects the R. R. R. Remedies have upon the system,
j and the mystery of their curing the sick so quick.

fpHIB ASSOCIATION offers greater inducements to
X the Working Classes than any other ii fitution in the

j found. It is formed upon the most liberal principles; and,
I although paying to the afflicted an extraordinary amount
j during illness, yet the vast number of members who have
contributed their means as a saving fund, have atall times
1 enabled the Society to give a liberal sura to all their diea

i port The following liberal benefits are ahowed to the sick ;
' those who pay $2 a year, are allowed |2 a week, when sick;
