R- R. R.
I TJIRACULOLB CißES.—People wonder at the
i i.» I quick efficacy of the R. R. R. Remedies in stopping
pain, removing its causes, and curing the most obstinate
complaints. Vet there is no mystery in it —there is nothing
: i “ tculous about it. True, until the K. K. R. Remedies
were introduced, no remedy or medicine was ever known
to stop the most torturing pains in a few seconds, and
allay the most violent Cramps of Cholera, Neuralgia,
Spasms, Ac., in a few minutes. Badway’s Ready Rehef
will stop pain instantly, becuu.-e it produces a counter-ac- :
tion upon the parts where pain is felt. If the Patient suf
fers from Neuralgia, it immediately acts upon the nerves,
produces a counter irritation, invigorates the nerves, and ;
imparts vitality to the parts where pain is experienced, j
The action of the Relief is quick, and the very moment it .
is applied, it begins to counteract the effects produced by j
diseased action. If you are the vict m of Cholera, it acts I
Instantly—taken internally, it settles the st( mach and !
alia vs all painful Irritation and sickness, It infuses heat into
the Hood, mi l its warm and healthful influence thrills 1
through every portion of the body; it neutralizes the poi- j
sou.ms malaria of Cholera and checks its progress. Ap
plied ex ernally, it allays Cramps and Spasms, and restores
tne cold-cramped, and almost lifeless victim, to life and
hca;ih. If i ju are troubled with Sick Headache, the Ready
Relief ta v j internally will neutralize the acid of the
: stem... make the stomach sweet and pure, and the
athfragrant; externally, it will produce a counter ac
■ou on the scalp and refre-h the semes. This, then, is all j
j the mystery about the action of R. R. Relief; It does not j
| lie in the action of the Relief, but in the science of its !
chemical and pharmaceutical combinati m. So with each I
of the other K. R. R. Remedies. The Resolvent acts In i
like manner upon the blood, and the diaeased deposits, re- ;
novating and resolving away from the system all scrofu- I
louv humor* and poisonous deposits.
KADWAY’S REGULATORS.—For regulating the organs j
of the system and securing a regular action of each ; free
! iog the bowels from all retained humors, assisting the sto
■ mach, aiding the digestive organs in their functional du
ties, the liver to secrete us bile, and the kidneys and blad
der! heir urine ; the bowel- to discharge their burden, and
the- kin to emit a free and healthy perspiration. Such are |
the effects the R. R. R. Remedies have upon the system, I
and the mystery of their curing the sick so quick.

Improved Telegraph Instrument.—Wenoticoin
in the exhibitions ot the Franklin institute an im
provement in the Telegraph Register, made by
James J. Clark, of this city, aud deposited by him.
The improvement consists \ the Register keep
in- itself constantly wound up, so that the operator
is n troubled in using the winding key. It also
I v. cures a nif< unity ol motion throughout any
i, imli tof messages. The winding motion is
oiitui!■•■•(! by an extra u: ignet being placed in the
Register, and the closing and breaking of the
circuit causes a lever to vibrate. The lever has a
click at its end, acting in a small steel ratchet
v cel, which cnu-es the ratchet wheel to revolve
and transmit its motion by wheel gearing to the
shaft of a soring contained in a box, like a watch.
A spring i* used by u motive power to the train
of wheels, instead of a weight, as in the ordinary
register. There is also an arrangement by which
it censes winding when the spring is wound to
the power nee: --ary to revolve the train of wheels.
Tin’s is effected by two points coming in contact
and establish!) rr a cross-current, which cuts off the
current from the winding magnet, until, by its
running, it c-nascs the two points to separate, when
the current flows through the magnet again, and
the winding is continued. The instrument is
beautifully finished, and reflects credit on the
maker.— Phil. Gaz.
Yankee Enterprise in South America.—By the
schooner Lamartine, which cleared at this port yes
terday for Cmnann, Venezuela, a party of adventu
rers go out, furnished with a complement of ma
chinery, for the purpose of raising treasure from
tiie wreck of tin Spanish vessel San Pedro, which
was lost off Venezuela, more than a century ago. It
is supposed that the vessel had about $1*,000,000 on
beard, which was scut by the home Government
to pay off troops in her dominions in the new world.
Some two year- since, a portion of the present par
ty discovered the wreck, and with the aid of little
apparatus for the purpose, succeeded in raising
about $-25,0 -1, and cleared the wreck, so that they
now anticipate operations will be comparatively
easy. A steam engine will be carried out, and
al-s a driving machine of ingenious construction,
newly invented by .James A. Whipple, together
with submarine armor and other apparatus. — Bos
