recovery. A bottle of Ready Relief was sent her, and ap

ALOISTA MARKET.
Weekly Report Tucmlay, P. M.
COTTON.—At the close of our last weekly report, the
market was in rather an unsettled state and prices not very
r gular. The market (luring the week has not been very
a live, and prices have declined fully % cent from the rates
current *n Tuesday last. This decline has been produced
by the late Liverpool accounts by the Hermann and Ameri
ca, showing a decline in that port, with very limited sab s -
and a corresponding decline in the home markets. On
Friday and Saturday there was very little done, and prices
v.ere uite irregular. Yesterday prices acquired more regu
lar y with s moderate business, and to-day the demand
has been fair with sales of about 1000 bales *v steady rates
We quote Middling to Good Middling, S# to «?, ; Mi. -
dling Fair, 94* to 9 7 » ; and Fair, 9 cents, at which the mar
ket closes firm, with a very fair demand.

TRADE AND BUSINESS.—The week’s business has
been materially affected by the unfavorable weather and
the excessive rain of the latter part of !»st week, which
has impeded travel in almost every direction. The trans- i
actions of the week have consequently been limited In al
most every branch of business.
GROCERIES—The operations in this department h»vs
been small for the season. Rio Coffee ha# advanced in
price, and Salt has declined, as will be seen by our quota
tions. The tales, for Salt are, however, irregular, and
prices are tending downward, and we look for a still further !
lecline. In the other leading articles, we note no change j
in price# during the week, and would refer to our quotations ;
a- a fair im-e* of prices.
BACON. —The demand for this ariice is limited, and |
prices are rather soft and irregular. Stock not large.
GRAIN.—The lim ted sapaiy of Cora enable# holder# to |
obtain very full price*. In Wheat w# note no #hange, and I
would refer to quotations.
PEAS continue dull, and prices are depressed.
EXCHANGE. —The rate for Bank Checks on the No'th

FREIGHTS have undergone no change during the w#«t, j

RHEUMATISM CAN BE CURED!
TT7E now hsrf for sale that celebrated remedy, MOR*
VV TIMORE’B RHEUMATIC COMPOUND and BLOOD
PURIFIER, which has gained such great popnlarity where
#ver introduced, as the only specific known lor the ef
fectual cure of this painful disease. This remedy has al
ready cured thousands of cases, comprising every seeming
form of this complaint, from the inflammatory (acute)
Jorm, attended with swellings and enlargement of the joints,
to old chrdnic cases of from ten to twenty and thirty
year*' standing. Those who had for years resorted to the
various celebrated springs, had tried all the liniments and
■ external applications, and been under treatment of some
of the ablest physicians both in this country and Europe,
and were pronounced incurable; still, after all these ef
forts had failed, this compound has cured them. Many
who ha. t,v,u cripples, either hobblim' ipon crutches or
confined to their beds for years, certify to a complete and
permanent cure by the use of this remedy.
We have not space, in a newspaper advertisement, to in
sert but a small portion of the accumulated evidence in its
behalf. This eviden- e comes fiom sources which must in
spire confidence in every mind. The conductors of high
toned public journals have published to the world its won
derful and beneficial effects upon themselves and those
around them, and in some instances speak of hundreds of
cures. Physicians have resorted to it, and certify that,
even in extreme cases, where consultations had been held,
and they had decided that there were no hopes of recov
ery, even then, they procured this medicine and adminis
tered it, and it effected a complete cure. Ministers of va
rious denominations have written and published what it
has-done for themselves and their friends; while mer
chants, officers, mechanics, and private citizens, have fur
nished volumes of evidence of the highest character, such
as accompanies no other preparation in America.
We most respectfully ask those who are afflicted to send
to the agent in their vicinity and get a circular, and read
the letters and certificates of Rev. Jas. Mitchell, R v. N.
G. lerrvm in. Rev. J. H. Linn, Rev. J. M. Kelly, Rev. K.
A. Colburn, and other clergymen; while we add the names
of H#n. J Smith, late President of the Bank of the State
of Missouri; Geo. O. Atherton, officer in the Batik in St.
Louis; Messrs. Jas. H. Eddy, 8. Downing, A. Holland, C,
tV. Btone, J. W. Christy, Joseph Bouthack, with other
prominent merchants of tit. Louis, as also vast numbers of
other citizens.
This is home evidence, and these are living witnesses,
where this great remedy was first introduced, and where
many thousands have been cured during the last two
years. The proprietors have now opened their Great Cen
tral Office at No. 1 Barclay street, (Astor Home,) in the
city of New- York, where all orders for this medicine will
be promptly attended to.
Tliis is a vegetable spirit—an interval remedy, pre
pared and recommended for this one disease alone. This
it will cure I
