JOY TO THE WORLD.
Perry Davis' Vegetable- Pain Killer
internal and External Ilem'dy.
Opinion* ot the Prf»».
WE presume no medical preparation ever offered to
the public ha-been more thoroughly tested than
PERRY DAVIS'PAIN KILLER. Thousands of per
sons were thpy called on to do so, would cheerfully testify
that they have u-ed it for variou- ill* with the most sat
isfactory nuceen#. It is within our knowledge that an
immense amount of suffering has been relieved by it.
It; proprietor*, Messrs. Perry Davis Sc Son. save no
pains or expense in cider to satisfy the public. Being
strictly honorable men, they observe the utmost uniform
ity in the manufacture of their celebrated Pain Killer.
'I tie materials ot h hii-h it Is composed are carefully se
lected—none but the best quality being used. By tbe-e
means, the high reputation w hich the Pain Killer has
long since acquired, iaatall times triumphantly sustained.
In view of these facts, wc are by no means surprised to
learn that Messrs. Davis A Bon * rale- are constantly in
-creasicg. While we congratulate our friends generally
that so valuable a preparation as the Pain K iller i» placed
w fUiiu their reach, we mu*t be permitted to rejoice at
the weH merited success of its liberal and enterprising
proprietors. —Providenco General Advertiser.
Pkrky Davis’ Vkoktabije Pain Kii.i.ku.—Volnnta

speak from our own observation and experience, when
we *ay that it remove* paiu as if by magic, from a parts
of the body, and is the best remedy in use for checking
diarrhea and removing the premonitory symptoms of
cholera. It hi applied both internally and externally,
with the best effects, aud none who Ua\e used the l’ain
Killer would be willingly without it constantly iu their
houses—Cincinnati Evening Nonpareil.
We are glad to learn tnat the Fain Killer (Perry Da

every reason to believe it to bealui ost never failing cure
for pain, and a* such is a medic a e no family should be
without. —Montreal Pilot. ,

A CURE FOR DYSPEPSIA.
SCIENTIFIC men have more difficulty in overcom
ing and eontrolliug the various symptoms of Dyspep
sia, than almoht any disease in the world. They are ;o
various in different individuals and case*, that it has
seemed impossible sometimes to obtain even temporary
elief from suffering. But a medicine has been diseover
>.d, which proves beyond a doubt, that in most eases a
permanent cure can be effected.
Dr. H E. Morrill, a skilful physician of New-Yot k city,
ta his remarks on Dyspepsia, says : “ The most effectual
medicine to improve the tone and energy of the stomach,
Is that prepared by Dr. George B. Green, and cn the
OXYGENATED BITTERS.
I would publish the recipe for preparing this valuable
medicine, if I knew what it was ; but as I do not, 1 can
only recommend its use. It seems to me to be improper
ly called ‘ Bdte.rs,’ at least in the popular acceptation of
that term—for it contacts no alcohol or other spirit, and is
rather sour than bitter. Though here, by the way, I can
not but earnestly caution the dy-peptk sufferer against
using 1 Bitters,’ the basis of which is alcohol or other ar
dent spirits. They no more impart real energy to the
stomach than a whip gives strength to a horse. The
stimulation which they excite is only temporary, and
sure to be followed by a reaction, which at length will
inevitably wear nut the stomach. The medicine of
which i am speaking, obviates these objections."
We have n<> hesitation in pronouncing the BITTERS
a sure cure lor Dyspepsia. None except those who
have suffered all the miseries of this di-ea-e, in its vari
ous forms, can appreciate the value of such a medicine.
Symptoms ot the m< st discouraging nature force the suf
ferer t j believe that his case is so pecu! ar that no medi
cine can reach it. To all who reason thus, we say, try
! the OXYGENATED BITTERS—they have received
the highest testimonials ever given in favor of any medi
cine. Prepared by Dr. GEORGE B. GREEN
