GENEVA NURSERY, i
HE IS EVA, N. Y.
T’HE proprietors of this old established Nursery,
Jl have the pleasure of announcing as usual, their
tine stock of FRUIT and ORNAMENTAL TREES,
SHRUBS, ROSES and GREEN HOUSE PLANT.*,
which has never been equalled in extent or surpassed in
vigor or beauty , beiug grown on a grave’y loam of dry

tiorous roots, maturing their Wood in early autumn for
transplanting. Our Nursery already emb aces over 2JO
acres of grouu i, entirely devoted to the gr wit.g of
Trees, Fru ts, Green House Plants, A \ No pains
have been spared to ensure accuracy in the growing ot
such va; ieiies as are best adapted to the va ioua 10.-a

increasing every year, and from the general satisiscuou
which our Tree* have given, has induced us to p aut
largely of such Fiuils as do weil there. We wish ;t dis
tinctly luidersto tl that our selection of Fruits are not
contiued to Northern varieties, or, as some call them,
Northern Fruits. Although we have produced many
new sorts that area great acquisition to our 1 st, slut v?e
cancot lay claim to ell, as a large portion of ihe choice
varieies and different species of Ftuit, are of Southern

choice Pears, Apricots, Plums, Heart and B gerear
Cherries, Nectarines, Gooseberries, Currants, and even
Apples to some extent, are natives of Europie, and many
of them are cultivated by the best Horticulturists and
Nurserymen in the South with entire satisfaction It is
not to be supposed that all varieties will succeed equally
well. This is the experience of all. To be successful
in growing Fruit, depends upon a judicious seiec iou of
