In the morning about 11 o’clock the hells
rung from the giove of the Academy * and
ihiueen camion were difeharged on Federal
Green, in boner oi the late confederated

At 3 dinnei was served up, ,-at the Coffee
houle, to the Governor, and Council, the (late
officers, and the officers of the late army of
the Union ; to men ot public service ; to the
heads of. mercantile houses, and to strangers.
Alter dinner the Governor gave* and were
dra k, the following toalls ; at each of which
a cannon was difeharged, except the lad which
had two.
