On Saturday, the 6th tilt. died at Boflon,
aged 64, the Hon. James Bowdoin, Esq. late
Governor of the flatfe of Mairachufetts, Pre
sident of the American Academy of Art!
and Sciences, and of the Maflachufetts Hu
mane Society ; Fellow of the Royal Societies
of London and Dublin, and of the Society
of Arts in Great-Britain; and Dodor of
Laws in the Universities of Cambridge and
Edinburgh.
A gentleman who arrived in Philadelphia,
•n the 19th of November, from Alexandria
in Virginia, informed, that a vessel had ar
rived there from Dunkirk, and brought ac
counts to the ift of October, which state,
that a foil accommodation of all differences
had taken place between England and Spain.
