I am diictled by the Seuate to inform the
House of Repretentatives, that the Senate
have coucuned in thcirjelolutiun relpefting
the printing the Journals of the General Al
fcmbly. And he withdrew.
Mr. rJtWiou prefcuied a petition from
Elinda Pejjg, praying that certain property,
which remains unfold, of John Pegg, her lare
hofbnnd, whole estate bath been confiscated,
might be veiled in her, which was received
and read.
Ordered, That the fame be referred to the
committee on petitions.
Mr. Talbot presented a petition from a
number of the inhabitants ot Richmond.

Wilkes, Greene, Washington and Burke,
pra w ing the ettabiilhmeut of a new county,
which was received and read.
Ordered , That the fame be referred to the

Mr. Tatnall presented a petition from Na
thaniel Pcndieton, praying theLegiflature will
confirm a purchafeof a lot iu Savannah, made
by the petitioner, which was received and

Mr. .Talbot presented a petition from a
number of the inhabitants of Wilkes county,
praying a division of the feid county, which
being read, was ordered to life ofl the table.
Mr. Leake presented a petition from Ray
mond De me re, juu. praying that.the name
of the petitioner may.be taken off the A& of
Amercement, and that he may be reltored
to the rights of citizenship, which was re
ceived and read. >

Mr. Secr«t»ry Milton, *nd Mr.-Urquhart,
one of the Secretaries of the Executive De
partment, attended the House of Repreienta
tives with such official papers, as were direct
ed on Saturday last to be laid before the Httjfe
of Representatives.
Ordered , That the papers be referred to
the committee of the whole House, on that
part of the message of his Excellency the Go
vernor, that relates to the treaty entered in
to between the United States and the Creek
Indians.
The order of the day being called for, the
Hou/e proceeded to rcfolve ltfelf into a com
mittee of the whole, on that part of his Ex
cellency the Governor’s message which re
late* to the treaty of peace entered into be
tween the United States and the Creek Indians.

Mr. Speaker left the chair.
Mr. Talbot took the chair of the committee.
, Mr. Speaker relumed the chair; atid Mr.
Talbot reported,.that the committee of the
whole House had had the fame under their
confideratiou,; and had come to the following
refutation thereupon: ....
Rejoivea , That the fame" be -referred to a

.The House proceeded to take under confi
deiation the laid refoiution; and the fame
bemg read, was agreed to by the House.
Ordered, That Mr. Abercrombie, Mr.
Wood, Mr. Franklin, Mr. King, Mr. Law
son, Mr. Seaborn Jones, Mr. Wylly, Mr.
Houfioun, Mr. Gignilliat and Mr. Lea.te,
be appointed a committee to take under their
the said treaty.
Ordeted , That a committee be appointed
to prepare and bring in a bill to amend an aft
tuiitied, ** An Aft tor iinpofmg a Tax for

Jamea Jones and Mr. .MiHedge, do prepare
aud bring in the fame. .
The Speaker laid before the House a letter
from John Clarke, Lieutenant-Colonel Com
numlawi of the fit ft Georgia State regiment,
hi of Himfelf, and the Officer and
folders of the fail regiment; and the fame
be.u* tcid, was ordered to be referred to the
committee cn petitions.
Mr. Taliaferro, from .the committee of
privileges and elections, reported, which he
read in his place, and afterwards delivered
in at the table.
The committee of privileges and elections
have had under their consideration the case of

I of Richmond,, charged with being a nymrter
of the Baptist church; and after having col
lected every information they have been able

nion, that nothing has appeared to them fuf
. ficient to difqualify (he said Mr. Sims from

Mr. King, from the committee, appointed
to prepare and bring in a bill to repeal lonre
pans, and amend some others, cf “ An Aft
to regulate the Infpectiou of Tobacco,” palled
at Augusta December 4th, 1789, reported,
which was received, and read the fi It time.
The House adjourned till to-morrow morn
iug, ten o’clock.
