the Markets in Britain, on terms highly ad
vantageous to the Planter, requiring only the
moderate allowance of a nett Commission of
five per cent, on Sales, and five per cent, on
Returns for their trouble in tranfaAing the
business : The Returds to be made in Cash,
or Goods at Prime Cost and Charges, as the
Planter shall desire—Tobacco will be re
ceived at Cbarlefton, Angufla or Campbell
ton} and to fnch who may require an ad
vance, EIGHT DOLLARS per HOGSHEAD

Strayed or stolen
ON the 27th of Oftober last. a bright bay
Horse, 4 years eld next spring ; and a
dark gray Mare ot the fame age ; the horse is
about 14 and a half hands high, both his hind
feet white and his right fore foot, has a fiar in
his forehead, bushy mane and tail, his mane
inclines to hang both sides, branded on the
near buttock thus + The mare is about 14
hands high, a long tail, her tail and mane al
most white, a small star on her foiebead, and
has fomc saddle spots. Av;y person delivering

LOST, some time ago, by Mr. Dixon’s
boy, out of a great coat pocket, bet ween
my house in Broad-itreet and Rae’s creek, a
fniall BUNDLE of PAPERS, containing a
covenant, &c. between Col. Henry Hampton
and niyfelf, aud a receipt of Mr. Laugfton’s
for a negroe, on account of Col, Mat bury,
in which he agrees to take horses for the ba
lance due him Whoever delivers them to
me ißall receive the above sum in caih. They
can be of no ule to any but the owner.

River Plantation
ON Saturday the 24th day of December
next, between the hours of 10 and 12
o’clock, at the Market-place in Augufia, will
be rented for one year, that valuable planta
tion on Savannah river, known by ihe name
of Bcddingfield ; about 240 acies of which
is under cultivation, and entirely free front
frefhes, adjoining lands of M‘Cartao Camp
bell, Elq. the efiate of Wallicon, and Mr.
William Bugg: Thufc inclinable to rent it,
are tequefted to view the premises in the
mean time, which are little more than three
miles from town. As the place belongs to an
absent gentleman, security will be required
for the due payment of the rent, as alio that
the houses, tec. will not be wilfully deffroyed.

remarkable large bright bay horse \0 hands
or upwards high, trots and canters tollcrab'e
well, is about 6 or 7 years old, he i 6 branded
on one of nis jaws but do not reco'letf the
letter, aud may be branded on some of his
quarters, for aught I know; whoever takes
up said horse and delivers him to laid Dr.
Hal!, or to the subscriber ar Augofla, llnll be
rewarded according to their trouble.
