THE several Companies of Militia with
in the refpedive counties, to be so
arranged as to cootain (as near-as may be)
four Sergeants, four Corporal?, one Drum
mer, one Fifer, and fixtyfour privates ; and
that five Companies as aforefaid do compose
a Battalion, to be commanded by a M'jor or
a Major Commandant, as the case may be,
and two Battalions a Regimen > to be com
manded by a L:*u enam-Col /nei, and that
where a county will not permit its being
formed into two Bit alions, the fame sh *ll
