Trie. Adjutant General is direct
ed to cause tne several companies of
militia within the refpeflive counties to be so
arranged as to contain as near as may be*
four sergeants, four corporals, one drum, one
fife, and fixiy-four privates; and that h* report
the* rank and number of field officers to be
coramiffioned in each county.

several counties will cause all Officers com
manding companies to give me a return of

number of men liable to do militia duty, by
virrue of an aft entitled, “au aft to revile and
amemi the militia law of this Hate ; parted
the 14th day of December 1792,” that I may

account given of it in the letter from the
French General to the Secretary ar War :

It was reported in Paris on Saturday that
the Emperor aod the Duke were dead. Since
then M. B. <ifot has repeated the story in bis
paper.

the Prince Royal, his son, and the reigning
Duke of Bruafwic, arrived at Coblentz the

The Duke of Bruafwick, it is said, re
signs the command of {the combined ar
mies, to which M. Mollendorff will fuc

The Landgrave of Herte-Caflel arrived at
Caffel on the 17th of October, on which day
also another prince of that family, a M Hes
se Darmftadt, parted by, with about 700
men, for the defence of his dominions.
