COTTON GINNING.
1' THE business of cleaning cot
ton, with exptdttion, and without
injury, has been tried in various Jhape's 2
.• and none as yet appears to be altogether
fatis/adory.
Under theft circum/lances, I jhall only
observe, that I have finijhed one of my gins,
fuck as I intend to offer the public 2 and
that in eight days, with one hand to feed,
with five pair of wooden rollers each ten
inches long, (without any extraordinary
exertions) it cleaned 398 pounds of net
cotton. This gin will be kept going in Au
gujta every day, Jor the injpedion of thofie
that are doubtful oj its operations, and
mufi fipeakfor itjelf.
