dated some days before the 16th of Ja
nuary last, as we have it paid, and will
not pay it twice. Said Lcfebvre is go»e

Sixty Dollars Reward.
A BSCONDED about two
months pafl, AFFEE, a negro girl
about $ feet 4 inches high, 16 years of
age, and supposed to be pregnant. She
went away in a brown fhalloon petticoat,
a dark callico wrapper, and a new black
caftor hat. She has a variety of cloaths,
ts a good walher and ironer, raised to
houle work, can card and spin, of few
words, but much cunning ; probahly she
may change her name and attempt a di
lfance. Sixty dollars will be paid on
conviction that lhe is harboured by a
white person, or free petfon of colour,
and ten dollars on conviction of a (lave,
and ten dollars for delivering, or lodging
Iter in any jail in this state or South Ca
rolina.

pofieffed of a deed of gift from their fa
ther, Pater Youngblood, deceased, bear
ing date the 27'h day of November 1777,
for a traft of land containing 200 acres
on White Oak creek, in tnc county of
Columbia, a copy whereof as nearly as
the petitioner could recollect was annex
ed to the fai I petition and is now lodged
in the CLrk’s Office, together with sun

their tobacco hogjheads would be cut if

house knew any thing about the piece until
it came out in the papers ; and I think
the notice is entirely too Jhort , as a num
ber of the planters had their tobacco hogs
heads made early to anjwer the end——at

the next crop .
