Ihe Imported Horse
DARE-DEVIL,
WILL stand at my plantation, near
Edgefield court-house, and cover
at Forty Dollars the Season, to be dis
charged by punctually paying Thirty
Dollars within the year, or Twenty-five
before the season expires. Notes mu!t be
Tent with the marcs accordingly, and One
Dollar to the Gioom. Marcs may be
well fed twice a day, at one (billing, or
once, at fix pence, which mud be paid
before they are taken away. Upwards
of four hundred acres of land areinclofed
as pa(bir«*fm ihc accommodation of mares,
and the utmost care will be taken, bat
not liable for any accidents orefcapes.
Dare-Devil is a horse of high form,
and great strength, fully i 6 hands high,
a fine bay. He was bred by the Duke
of Bedford, was one of the fleeted horses
in England, and his blood is furpafied by
no horse ever imported. He was got by
Magnet, his,, dam Hebe by Chryfolite,
out of Proserpine, full filter to Ecltpfc,
Magnet was one of the belt Tons of King
Herod, and Chryfolite was got by Blank,
the bell son of the Godolphin Arabian.
Darb-Devil is a sure foal getter, and
his flock have every where proved them
fclves equal or superior to any breed ever
tried in America.
A number of letters from gentlemen of
the highest refipeftability in Virginia to
the owner, attesting the high eltimation
in which this horse is held in that (late,
and the incredible performance of many
of his colts, will be left with the horse,
for the fatisfaftion of rhofe who *» a y
choose to read them.
The season will commence on the 28th
March, and end the 1 sth Augufl next,

LIAMS, who was apprehended for horse
dealing a few days before, and who left
in the poiTdfion of the fubferiber several
articles, which are as follows;
One new fuddle and bridle; one brace
piflols and holders, covered with Leopard
(kin ; one umbrella ; one fitver watch ;
one pair faddie bags, with a number of
cloathes.
Some of the cloathing arc marked S. I.
B. and others S. I. Baldwin. Any perion
or persons claiming or owning find pro
perty, or any part thereof, are desired to
come forward, prove their property, and
pay for advertiling.
