The Democratic Judicial Convention, which j
assembled last week at Cuthbert, we learn j
from the Lumpkin Palladium, nominated the >

will give satisfaction to the people. Turn out,
voters of the Patnuln Circuit, and elect one so
worthy of your confidence and suffrage. Re

Exportation of California Wine.—The San
Francisco Bulletin, of the lfitli ult., says:
It may not probably he known by the general
public the exportation of California wine to the
Eastern States and Europe is gradually on the
increuse - This, nevertheless, is the case, and all
most every clipper that leaves our harbor for the
East carries more or less of this production which,
at no distant day, is to be the source of great
wealth, and perhaps of more importance that the
gold product itself. Yesterday, the clipper Cor
onet took out 14 packages and 12 cases, contain
ing 400 gallons of wine, to New York, Boston and
Philadelphia. The California wine, on account ‘
of its peculiar flavor and purity, is getting to h * j
great favorite with the German population of the
East.

Antony and Cleopatra.
This unique and mammoth establishment com
bines a greater number of attractions than were
ever before offered to the public. The Perform
ing Elephants, Antony and Cleopatra, arc the
same which for months, created the greatest fu
ror in London and Paris, while more recently
their performances were the theme of universal
admiration for months, at the Broadway Theatre
New York. Their wonderful docility, and the
perfection of their training, make them the most
interesting specimens of the animal creation that
the world has ever seen. All their faculties have
been developed to the greatest extent, and they
stand forth as sat generis, the most remarkable of
their kind. They stand upon their heads, play
upon musical instruments, ascend inclined planes
and go through all the operations of the most ac
complished acrobats.
In addition, Bailey & Co’s Circus and Menage
rie comprises a splendid!collection of wild animals.
The Troupe of Riders, Vaulters, Lady Equcs
trienes Ac, is the largest and most thoroughly ar
tistic now traveling, and comprises the following
distinguished names:
Mr. E. Perry, J. W. Ward,
Mrs. Perry, S. Burt,
Miss Perry, G. Sloman,
Master Perry, If. Bedaw,
B. White, Site Weede,
Donalson, 11. Nell Banks,

A fine Brass Band will precede the Grand Cav

prefers that ladies and gentlemen should judge for

DISEASE OF THE KIDNEYS,

WEAKNESS OF ANY KENT),
A KID AGUE.
And the various affections consequent upon a diseased
STATE OF THE LIVER.
Such as Indigestion, Acidity of the Stomach, Colicky
Pains, Heartburn, Loss of Appetite, Despondency,Co
tivenes, Blind and Bleeding Piles. In all Nervous,
Rheumatic and Neuralgic Affections, it has in numer
ous instances proved highly beneficial, and in others ef
fected a decided cure.
This is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on
strictly scientific principles, after the manner of the
celebrated Holland l’rolessor, Bterliav#. Because of
its great success in most of the European States, it. in
troduction into the United States wns intended more
especially for those of our fatherland scattered here
and there over the face of this mighty country. Meet
ing with great success among them, I now offer it to
the American public, knowing that its truly wonderftil
medicinal powers must be acknowledged.
It is particularly recommended to those person*
whose constitutions may have been impaired by the
continuous use of ardent spirits, orother form* of dis
sipation. Generally instantaneous in effect, it finds ite
way directly to the seat of life, thrilling and quickening
every nerve, raising up the drooping spirit, and in feet
infusing now health and vigor in the system.
NOTICE —Whoever expects to find this a beverage.
will be disappointed; but to the sick, weak, and low
spirited, it will prove a grateful aromatic cordial, poa-,
sessed of singular remedial properties.
CAUTION!
The great popularity of this delightful aroma ha* in
duced many imitations, which the public should guard
against purchasing. Be not persuaded to buy anything
else until you have given 80-rhave’s Holland Bitters a
fair trial. One bottle will convince you how infinitely
superior it is to all these imitations.
