There are seven reasons wity this School com
mends itself to public notice in preference to ntanv
of our popular schools.
Ist. The healtlilulnesa of the location,
2d. Its freeness liom all the vices which tend to
allure the mind from deep and earnest application to
study.
3d. Tb thoioughnc-s and diligence to which tin
student 1 subjected— eing taught that he has no
timetc waste
tth. Vocal music is a aily exercise, free of charge
in which the whole schoul join in the sweet accents
—which arouses the tired intellect, and restores elas
ticity to the drooping mind
sth. The efforts made to deselope the mindby the
use of practical Instruction at the expense of the
impractical
6th. The deep interest manilested by the Teachers
Trustees, and Citizens, gives it that social and ltvelj
aspect, so harmonious to the youthfltl mind—ren

7th. The systematic manner in which the school is

Spikenard, Camomile Flowers and Gentian. They
are manufactured by Dr. Dods himself, who is an
experienced and successful Physician, and hence
not to be classed among the quack nostrums which
flood the ceuutry, and h the M edica.
Profession areso justly prejudiced. These truly val
uable bitters have not been before the pubiic for one
year, and yetthere is a heavy demand for them from
all parts ofthe Union.
Dr. Frink No. 30 West 35th Street New York says
“I have been greatly benefiued by using Dr. Dods’
Wine Bitters, and am now using them freely and
successfully in my practice, Asa medicine for Fe
males I considertheni unequalled.’
Dr. Guernsey, No. 18 West 23d Street, says:
“1 have used Dr. Dods* Wine Bitters in my prac
lice and in all cases where a tonic is required, 1 con
sider them unsurpassed, and cheerfully recommend
them as a valuable Family Medicine.”'
Dr Meacham of Florida says:
“For several years I suffered all the horrors ot
Chronic Dyspepsia. 1 used ail other remedies with
out avail. I discarded prejudice, and used Dr. Dods*
Wine Bitters, which have greatly bene, fitted me, and
I believe will cure me.”
Mr. G. S. Weaver, of Albasy, N. Y.
“My wife was sinking rapidly with consumption;
the best physicians in Albany and New York Citv
pronounced her case hopeless. She used L‘r Dods’
Wine Bitters, and is cured.”
Mr. J. E. Staats of Newark, N. J. says:
“My daughter was extremely ill; she" had been at
tended oy four of our beat physicians; her disease
was inflammation of the bowels, which had produced
extreme debility. Her case was considered hopeless
by all who saw her. A friend recommended Dr,
boas’ Wine Bitters; she used them and ig well.”
Mr. Brittain, editor of the Banner of Light in Bos
ton,says:
“Dr. J. Bovee Dods’ Wineßjtters have cured rae
ofthe Piles, in the worst and most obstinate form.”
A distinguished lady of Mobile Ala., writing to a
female friend,says:
‘*l would advise you to use Dr. J. Bovee Dods’ Im
perial Wine Bitters. I have used them and consider
them a blessing to our sex.”
We might write a small volume and then'would not
give one one fourth ofthe testimonials in our posses
sion, as to the v rtueofthose valuable Biters, but we
will only say that they are approved of by our best

country, and earnestly entreat the afflicted *o try
