At my induct on into Office the ’n debtedness of the City was about $1450 according to the report wf my predeces sors. Nothing has been added to the indebtedness of the City during my ad ministrotian and although no improre ments have been made, it was thought best to derate the limited resources of the city to the reduction of its indebt«d ness. From the best information I can ob tain the indebtedness of the City at this time is about $900,00 and I now leave the Treasury of the City able to pay its indebtedness.
