W. T. MORGAN, Chairman. C. D. PEARSON, JOHN T. MOORE. ‘THIRD AT GRIFFIN. The Men Are Rapidly Being Put Into the Camp. Several hundred volunteers of the Third Georgia regiment will soon be in camp. Colonel John S. Candler will be in Grif fin this afternoon and recruits will go into the camp in squads on and after Friday, as they are acepted by the surgeons. 'Dr. Pate, assistant surgeon, has gone to Dallas to examine recruits, and from there will go to Trenton, thence to Rome on Fri day and Marietta on Saturday. Dr. Harris, another assistant surgeon, has gone to Augusta, whence he will go to Savannah tomorrow night, spending a day there and going on to Brunswick Saturday. The adjutant of the regiment. Lieutenant W. Driscoll Rockwell, went down to Grif fin several days ago, and Major F. E. Cal loway, the governor’s miltary secretary, who goes down to represent the state, will act as quartermaster at the camp. Lieutenant Fred Palmer, who succeeds IMajor Mills as enlisting officer, has his hands full getting ready for mustering the regiment into service. The supplies and equipment of the reg iment will be ready when it reaches camp and is mustered into service. There will be no such delay in getting into shape as there was before. The uni forms, camp utensils, tents, blankets, etc., will all be ready for the men when they enter the service of the United States. A Texas Wonder. HALL’S GRJtCAT DISCOVERY. About one month ago my child, which is fifteen months old, had an stack of diar rhoea accompanied by vomiting.
