PACIFIC GITA NQJD0M2 ANY, CAPITAL - - - fl0,00<V». Soluble Pacific Guano. T HIS GUANO is found by «ip«rinM l# poesese fully equal* and under eotae (Mh ditlona greater fertilising power than P«t< Tien Guano. Its ooet per ton ia at least ftMf less than Perurlan—hence. Planters oan af ford to use it mtfre liberally, and thus tsttUss gt eater benefits. Aooordiug to the experience of Wat. HU Young, Esq., of Columbus, Ga., to whom we refer, 200 pounds per acre of {Soluble Pacific Gnano increased the orep three to four timet; 400 pounds per acre inoreesed the crop five to six times. Dikictioms ronUss.—Strew one-half the quantity to be applied per acre in the drill, or hill, and plant upon it. When the ootton or oorn is brought to a stand, and wall up, say four or five inches, sow the other half broadcast between the rows, before the plows. This is found to be a better method than to apply all in the drill. i This Gnano not only increases the erop so largely, but matures it from two to four weeks earlier—thus adding so long a time to‘the bearing season, and makes a good erop, not withstanding it be attacked by caterpillars. The use of this Guano in Georgia on the last crop, paid from 200 to 400 per cent on the investment. Every Planter, who is incredulous as. to these faots, should at least satisfy himfslf by a trial on a small scale, as ths outlay will be small, while the experience gained will prove of great value. The culture of poor land will not compensate without the use of con centrated fertilisers, and that which is beet, at least oost; must bp preferred.. Bee testimonials anaexad.
