bany's prosperity and the interest of this

are necessary to thn growth of cltioa, and the
prosperity of agricultural pursuits. When
completed this rosd will compete with tho
Centre! end Southwestern roods for the

and thousands, if not hundreds of thousands
of dollars vflll be retained in the country,

our people# be lessened by the eonatruetion
of the BrniiswLk and Albany ! Road. That
enterprise wlll only afford a third competing

Albany and her planting region, by a forced
reduction of freights, and low raten of trav
el.
It is blind policy, therefore, to withhold
