A Bruins in Humble Life. Thdlivcning Post says: . .-Albert G. Drocker is the watchmai of the Passaic River drawbridge oi the NeW Yoik and Newark Uailroatl, whose business it is to sec that the draw is closed upon tho approach ot the trains. On Friday afternoon last, just before a passenger train was to pass the bridge, the draw was open and Mr. Drccker began to close it.— The tiain was not yet in sight at this moment, but the watchman kuew'il was coming, and that no time should be lost in putting the bridge in its proper position. While engaged in closing the draw, a little son of Mr. Drecker, 10 years old, fell lroni the bridge into the deep. To savo the child would be an easy matter, but Sir. Drccker now saw the train thup- dering along the track, and knew that the rescue ot this boy would involve the destruction of the train. What was he to do?
